There are lots of ways to support education in developing countries:
Our Send a Student to School program is a great way to make a huge impact for just $10 per month. What will $10 buy, you might ask. Would you believe a whole month of education for a kid who might not otherwise have the chance to attend school? Your $10 monthly donation will help support a school in a developing country, including text books and other school supplies, a hot lunch and teacher's salaries. And kids that go to school are healthier, happier and more likely to grow up and make our world a better place.
You can also donate any amount you wish and be sure that everything you give will help support education, whether that's in the form of drilling a water well to bring fresh clean drinking water to a school in need or building desks, chalk boards or playground equipment to make it easier to learn and teach.
Finally, don't forget to stop by Cool Bean Cafe in Oakhurst, California and Give the Difference to Make a Difference. We're not asking you to give up your daily caffeine, we'd NEVER ask you to do something we wouldn't do! What we're "suggesting" is that for one day a week, you order just a plain ol' cup-o-joe, and donate the difference in price, or round up your next order to the nearest dollar and donate the difference. There's a jar right on the counter to throw your change into, so it's super easy!
If online transactions are not your thing, we happily accepts checks as well! Just mail them to:

If you would rather send in kind donations of items, just contact us and we'll tell you how to get it to us. There is a need for many items including school supplies, PE equipment (soccer balls and jumpropes are a big hit!), toys, yoga mats (for nap time) and unbreakable (melamine) plates. There are many other items needed, just use your imagination!
